Greg Thomas serves as Director of Business Development at Champion Park Advisors, where he plays a hands-on role overseeing the firm’s client portfolio, including owner-operators, sponsors, GP-led ownership groups, Champion Park Private Capital Partners, and the firm’s national referral partner network.

He is a core contributor to the firm’s Capital Introduction Committee, supporting the full transaction lifecycle—from deal sourcing and initial screening to soft underwriting, capital structuring, and portfolio strategy. His work bridges borrower objectives with lender and investor mandates, ensuring alignment across risk, return, and execution.

Mr. Thomas brings more than 35 years of experience across automotive finance, mortgage lending, hard money lending, revenue-based business financing, and private equity deal sourcing. He began his career in auto finance, advancing rapidly from sales to finance management and ultimately leading a dealership finance department by age 21. In his mid-30s, he transitioned into real estate investing and mortgage brokerage, later expanding into private lending and hard money finance.

Over the past decade, Mr. Thomas has focused on alternative and private capital markets, including revenue-based lending, merchant cash advance platforms, and private equity deal sourcing. He has led sales and origination teams marketing business loans and structured capital solutions, while sourcing opportunities for private equity and sponsor-led transactions.

Throughout his career, Mr. Thomas has worked directly with CEOs and CFOs of companies generating up to $100 million in annual revenue and has held senior leadership roles across multiple finance-driven organizations. His expertise spans asset-based lending, structured credit, and cash-flow-driven financing solutions, with a practical, execution-focused approach valued by borrowers, lenders, and capital partners alike
